Group of delegates from Austria with representatives of Energji Ashta;

On the occasion of an educational journey to Albania a group of Austrian representatives from the trades union payed a visit to the construction site of HPP Ashta. Among them several members of the Austrian Parliament who were impressed by the dimension of the construction site. After a short technical introduction by the managing directors of Energji Ashta, Dietmar Reiner (VERBUND) and Peter Stelzer (EVN), they convinced themselves of the ongoing progress on the site.
Besides the visit in Ashta the Austrian delegation met PM Sali Berisha and the mayor of Tirana Lulzim Basha. The delegation enjoyed the Albanian hospitality and had constructive talks with high-level political stakeholders.
