On May 8, the Austrian Association of Municipalities visited Energji Ashta during a professional and educational trip to Albania.
The delegation, led by President Johannes Pressl and joined by board members and mayors from across Austria, was welcomed by representatives of EVN, VERBUND, and Energji Ashta.
During the visit, guests had the opportunity to explore the hydropower plant, learn more about the companies’ activities in Albania, and exchange ideas on renewable energy and the country’s ongoing energy transformation.
Projects such as Energji Ashta continue to highlight the importance of international cooperation and knowledge exchange in supporting Albania’s energy transition and the broader development of renewable energy in Southeast Europe.
